The Subzero Motorsport Stage 3 4.1L VR38 Short Block is built for Nissan GT-R R35 owners aiming for extreme horsepower without compromising reliability. Designed around a 4.1L stroker configuration, this forged short block is capable of supporting up to 2,200 HP when paired with the proper turbo system, fuel system, and professional ECU calibration.
At the core of the package is a Brian Crower EN40 billet crankshaft, matched with SZM Spec Italian RP Platinum connecting rods and Diamond forged pistons to deliver exceptional strength under extreme boost and high-RPM operation. A Magnus Motorsports chrome moly steel girdle, GT1R 12mm main stud conversion, ARP CA625+ head studs, and ARP long head studs reinforce the block and improve cylinder head clamping for maximum durability.
Whether the goal is drag racing, roll racing, standing half-mile, or a high-horsepower street GT-R, the Stage 3 short block provides the strength and reliability required for the most demanding VR38 builds.
