The Subzero Motorsport (SZM) 1000HP+ Sensors Package is a complete sensor upgrade for the Nissan GT-R R35 (VR38DETT) at 1,000 HP and above. At this power level the factory MAP sensor runs out of range, the OEM temperature sensors respond too slowly to tune from, and fuel pressure is not monitored at all. This package fixes all three in one part number.

Built around RIFE 5 Bar MAP sensors, fast-response IAT sensors, and SZM plug & play pressure kits for EcuTek. Accurate boost and temperature data for tuning, plus live fuel pressure so EcuTek lean protection can cut power before a failing pump destroys the engine. All kits use existing factory ECU inputs. No cutting, no splicing, fully reversible.

FAQ

Why do I need upgraded sensors at 1,000 HP?
The factory MAP sensor cannot read the boost levels involved, and OEM temperature sensors lag under heat soak and methanol injection. Without accurate data your tuner is guessing.

Does it work with EcuTek on the stock ECU?
Yes. The SZM pressure kits are built to feed data into an EcuTek-tuned factory R35 ECU and enable its safety trips.

Does installation require cutting the harness?
No. The kits use factory ECU inputs and connectors and are fully reversible.

Will this add horsepower on its own?
No. Sensors provide accurate data and working ECU protection, which is what makes 1,000 HP+ tuning safe.
