Subzero Motorsport is a 27,718 sq. ft. (2,575 m²) high-performance facility in Dubai, UAE, specializing primarily in the Nissan GTR R35.
With more than 75 staff, the facility combines engine and transmission building, precision machining, 5-axis CNC, a full fabrication factory by Bullet Performance, Dynojet and Mainline hub dynos, software tuning, paint and ceramic/powder coating, and more than US$1 million worth of GTR R35 parts inventory.
Established in 2005
Rashed Al Jabri established Subzero Motorsport in Dubai in 2005.
When the Nissan GTR R35 arrived in the region around 2009, it quickly became a major part of Subzero Motorsport. Since those early years, the team has been building VR38 engines, building GR6 transmissions, fabricating turbo kits in-house, tuning GTRs and preparing them for street and motorsport use.
Thousands of GTR R35s have since been built, upgraded, serviced and developed by Subzero Motorsport.
In 2016, Mohammad Al Jabri began working hands-on within the workshop, tuning cars and handling performance and racing projects. In 2019, Mohammad took over ownership from his father, Rashed Al Jabri, beginning the next generation of Subzero Motorsport.
Nissan GTR R35 Specialists
The Nissan GTR R35 is at the center of Subzero Motorsport.
More than a decade of continuous development has given the team extensive experience with the complete platform — from the VR38DETT engine and GR6 transmission to turbo systems, fuel systems, AWD drivetrain, electronics, ECU/TCU calibration and race development.
Subzero Motorsport develops everything from street GTRs to 2,000+ HP builds for drag racing, roll racing and high-speed competition.
The objective is simple: build the complete GTR around its intended power and purpose.
Inside the 27,718 Sq. Ft. Facility
Subzero Motorsport's 27,718 sq. ft. (2,575 m²) Dubai facility brings the major stages of a high-performance GTR build together under one operation.
Engine & GR6 Transmission Building
VR38 engines and GR6 transmissions are built in-house, from performance street applications to extreme-horsepower racing combinations.
The engine program includes upgraded 3.8L, 4.1L stroker and billet-block combinations, supported by complete GR6 transmission and drivetrain development.
Precision Machine Shop & CNC
The in-house machine shop gives Subzero Motorsport direct control over critical engine machining and component development.
Equipment includes 2 × Centroid A560XL 5-axis CNC machines, MAXPREC CSG-1500 surface grinder, CWT valve seat and guide machine, MAXPREC VCBM-1500 cylinder boring machine, Rottler honing system, precision lathe, vertical milling machine, and crankshaft and connecting-rod balancing equipment.
Together, these machines support cylinder-head porting, block preparation, boring, honing, resurfacing, valve-seat work, billet component manufacturing and complete rotating-assembly preparation.
Full Fabrication Factory by Bullet Performance
The facility includes a full fabrication factory operated by Bullet Performance.
Equipped with a CNC mandrel bending machine, pipe expanding machine and multiple TIG welding machines, the factory produces GTR turbo kits, exhaust systems, intercooler piping and custom motorsport components in-house.
Custom turbo fabrication has been part of Subzero Motorsport's GTR program since the early years of the R35 platform.
Paint & Finishing
Subzero Motorsport also provides paint, powder coating and ceramic coating in-house, allowing complete builds and individual components to be finished within the same operation.
Dyno & Tuning
The dedicated tuning department is equipped with both a Dynojet chassis dyno and Mainline hub dyno.
Subzero Motorsport provides ECU and TCU calibration, EcuTek and standalone ECU tuning, boost and fuel calibration, engine protection, data logging and race calibration.
Dyno testing is used to develop and validate the complete combination — engine, GR6 transmission, turbo system, fuel system and electronics — before the vehicle leaves the facility.

Subzero Motorsport has been involved in racing and high-speed competition throughout the UAE and GCC for many years, with Subzero-built and tuned GTRs achieving race wins, records and regional milestones.
One of those achievements was becoming the first car in the GCC to exceed 400 km/h from a standing start over 800 meters.
These results are important because racing tests much more than horsepower. The engine, transmission, drivetrain, turbo system, fuel system, electronics and calibration must perform together under extreme conditions.

Subzero Motorsport operates a dedicated spare-parts shop carrying more than US$1 million in Nissan GTR R35 inventory.
The stock includes new, used, genuine Nissan OEM and racing parts, covering everything from VR38 engines and GR6 transmissions to drivetrain, turbo, fuel, electronics, body and performance components.
The inventory supports Subzero Motorsport's own projects while also supplying GTR owners, workshops and builders throughout the UAE, GCC and international markets.
